A. Beginning after October 1, 1996, Jasper County shall make Federal Tax Deposit (FDT) payments by electronic funds transfer (EFT), mandated by the 1993 North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), to Bank One Rensselaer NA or First of America – Indiana (Bank), in accordance with the provisions of the Internal Revenue Code which requires tax deposits to be made electronically by use of the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS).

B. Jasper County elects the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Credit payment option, whereby the Treasurer of Jasper County will instruct Bank One Rensselaer NA or First of America – Indiana (Bank) to send each payment directly to the Department of the Treasury account at the Federal Reserve Bank.
