The Board of Commissioners shall file an order in the Office of the County Auditor not less than 15 days prior to the date of any primary or general election establishing the schedule of compensation for all clerks, assistant clerks, judges, and Sheriffs for their services in primary or general elections. The compensation allowed shall not exceed the maximum amount permissible under State law, and shall include compensation for meals provided for all election officials.
