A. The Board of Commissioners, acting within the reasonable exercise of its police power, adopts the following regulations governing certain roads and streets under its jurisdiction.

B. The Board of Commissioners designates certain intersections of County roads as “stop” intersections. All such “stop” intersections are identified and ordained by the Board of Commissioners on stop sign inventory sheets in the following categories:

1. Stop sign locations in Jasper County; and

2. Stop sign locations in subdivisions – Jasper County; and

3. Stop sign locations in Fair Oaks-Jasper County. These stop sign locations are also indicated on a map captioned “Jasper County Highway Traffic Control.” Two copies of this map and the inventory sheets are on file in the office of the County Auditor for public inspection and are incorporated in this section by reference. All vehicles shall stop at one or more of the entrances to a “stop” intersection as indicated by the signs posted upon or at these intersections to give notice of this traffic regulation.

C. The Board of County Commissioners designates certain intersections of County roads in residential subdivisions as “yield” intersections. All such “yield” intersections are indicated on a map captioned “Jasper County Highway Traffic Control.” Two copies of this map are on file in the office of the County Auditor for public inspection and are incorporated in this section by reference.
