No person shall harbor any dog/cat affected with rabies or hydrophobia or suffer them to run at large within the County. It shall be the duty of every police officer, Animal Control Officer and his deputies to humanely euthanize any dog/cat found to be so infected. [Ord. 12-1-97D § 1; Code 1988 § 74.09.]
