2.40.020 County Highway Engineer – Powers and duties – Office.

A. The County Highway Engineer shall, subject to the policies of the County Executive, act according to the provisions of performance included in IC 8-17-5-6 concerning the County highway system, subdivision streets, bridges and culverts.
B. The County Highway Engineer shall prepare all required surveys, estimates, plans, and specifications as determined by the County Executive.
C. The County Highway Engineer shall adhere to the personnel policy as adopted by the Board of Commissioners for Jasper County employees. [Ord. 8-2-99D § 2.]
