The provisions of this code apply to the construction, alteration, repair, use, occupancy, maintenance and additions to all buildings and structures, other than fences and farm accessory buildings, in Jasper County. Repair of existing buildings or structures are covered by the provisions of this code only if they affect the exterior perimeter and/or structural strength of such building or structure.
